I know these are typically “About Me” pages, but since I feel like the point of this site is “me and God” and “me and my family” (pardon my incorrect grammar and in reality it is certainly God than me and I strive to be family and then me), I think About Us is better!

I am a follower of Jesus who is striving to live like a citizen of heaven while on earth! I am married to a man who loves Jesus above all else and is a phenomenal Husband and Daddy, an incredible Football and Track Coach, a gifted teacher, a skilled welder and farmer, and SO many other things! I am a mother to two rambunctious, spunky, smart and beautiful princesses! I am also a teacher, I have taught second grade, then kindergarten, followed by third grade and work as the Title I Coordinator and one of the Title I teachers at Gravette Upper Elementary and Gravette Middle School, now I work exclusively with struggling readers in our Middle School.

I started this site as a way to share this unbelievable journey of following Jesus on Earth while looking toward heaven and being “called” in so many ways and roles all at once. I think there is great power and freedom in knowing we’re not alone in our victories or struggles, our mountains and valleys. God made us for fellowship and I just want to share this journey of always seeking balance and grace in the midst of an imperfect but intentional walk toward perfection, a.k.a Jesus Christ. I am now also wanting to share the knowledge and resources I have that will help you as you either personally take your child on their education journey at home or advocate for them as they pursue it in school.
